The Company:
We are looking for an Assistant Account Manager to support a portfolio of Manchester-based menswear accounts across multiple brands. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Import Merchandiser, Assistant Merchandiser or a Product Administrator looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Senior Account Manager
- Assisting the Account Manager with customer accounts and in house brand development.
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Assist in customer meetings where necessary and collaborate with the wider team – Design and Technologists to develop commercially relevant product.
- Monitor and chase weekly critical paths, sample development trackers and price enquiries to ensure deadlines are met.
- Raising Purchase Orders with factories
- Assist in daily/weekly product review meetings
- Create and maintain seasonal Excel trackers and reports.
- Produce sales and performance reports from Shopify.
- Assist Account Manager with sales performance reviews
- Support the Account Manager with day-to-day account administration.
- Ensure all customer information and product data is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Desired Skills
- Previous experience in an Assistant Merchandiser, Assistant Import Merchandiser, Product Administrator or similar role within the fashion industry.
- Strong commercial awareness with a genuine passion for fashion and product.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Highly analytical with strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Positive, proactive team player with a desire to learn and develop.
