The Company:
Our client is a well established, fast paced fashion supplier looking to recruit a dynamic Trainee Sales Executive to join their team. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with existing brand partners ensuring their customers remains a leading destination for fashion. The role is fast-paced, commercial, and requires a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand brand portfolio across fashion categories, including Ladies, Men’s and Children’s fashion
- Attending meetings with Buyers across all group Brands
- Monitor fashion trends and identify gaps in the current offering to inform sales strategies
- Liaise with onboarding and account management teams to ensure smooth transitions for new partners from sign-up to launch
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable sales processes and support marketplace growth, working with Account Managers, Designers and Merchandisers
- Track and report on sales performance, providing insights to improve future strategies.
- Manage all related Sales Administration
- Working to incentivised targets
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the fashion retail landscape.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, both written and verbal
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant sales tools WhatsApp, ChatGPT
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet challenging deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and support wider business objectives
- Trend awareness and a genuine passion for fashion and customer service
Desirable Attributes
- Experience working with marketplace platforms or aggregator partners.
- Previous exposure to digital fashion retail environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for events and partner meetings.
