The Company:
An established luxurious lifestyle and apparel brand is seeking a Studio Manager to join their team.
The Role:
- Expertise in HR
- Working across the departments covering HR, Admin and Resources
- Oversee the smooth running of our fast-paced studio and be a positive presence to the team.
- Take ownership of the space, ensuring it is a welcoming environment for staff and ensuring efficiency for the day-to-day running of the company
- Maintenance and improvements of the studio space, purchasing studio storage, equipment and furniture as required
- Being the main key holder for the company. Managing security systems e.g alarm system, entry fobs, signing in.
- Managing renewals and negotiations on overhead supplier contracts.
- Managing studio cleaning requirements, daily and ad-hoc.
- Maintain H&S requirements including Emergency Procedures & Fire Risk.
- Assessments, Fire Marshall responsibilities, planning and sometimes delivering training.
- Liaise with the landlord regarding contract renewals, service charge, and report any issues that need resolving with the UK premises.
- Overseeing the recruitment process. Drafting Job Descriptions and Adv
- Booking and coordinating travel arrangements for Leadership & Management.
- Managing the garment faults process ensuring these are resolved in a timely manner
- Available to take notes in client meetings or management meetings.
- PA services to Director, diary management and travel arrangements.
- Maintain and file legal documents required such as NDA’s, T&C’s and GD ensuring they are up to date and supplied to freelancers/suppliers.
- Oversee resources for client meetings, ensure studio is well-prepped in advance.
- Manage stock within the studio and ordering.
- Planning of studio resources.
- Administering and ensuring support is provided for all special/one-off projects as required.
- Supporting with additional activities such as photoshoots, trade shows, client meetings.
- Approving management team holidays ensuring resources are covered.
- Managing our People & Culture Coordinator.
- Oversee budget for studio food & drink.
- Printer and paper management.
- Oversee studio packaging and stationery ordering
Skills Required:
- A flexible “can-do” attitude, willing to roll up their sleeves and make a vit contribution to a busy and fast paced team/working environment
- Strong written and verbal skills, a great communicator
- T proficient with Google Workspace experience
- Personable, positive, self-motivated and calm under pressure
- Incredibly detail-oriented and organised with a solutions-oriented mentality
- Able to contribute fresh ideas
- Project management experience desirable
