The Company:

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Designer of licensed children’s character products to work for an established, dynamic and fun company during a very exciting period. The company supply a wide range of products and are looking to recruit someone who will work as part of a dynamic team.

Main Responsibilities

• To create exciting and high-quality designs across home textiles licensed product, including print ready files.
• Liaise with Licensors on internal and external projects ensuring designs adhere to brand guidelines and production capabilities.
• Identify and create mood boards based on key trends and themes tailored to character and market.
• Create strong design decks for core ranges, internal projects and customer specific briefs.
• Collaborate with the wider team on new developments and contribute innovative ideas.
• Conduct regular market research and attending trade shows.
• Liaise with product development and suppliers on production samples.

Skills Required:

• The ideal candidate should have an excellent portfolio and experience working within an in-house creative department or other creative team environment.
• Be able to present design work at various stages to internal and external stakeholders for review and final approval
• Organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to work independently as well as part of a wider team
• Ensure all work consistently meets established brand standards and guidelines
• Able to work quickly and efficiently with excellent communication skills
• Be professional, with a positive can-do attitude and a strong work ethic and willingness to observe and learn
• Experience working across Europe and/or working with brands helpful
• Working knowledge of Adobe, Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Powerpoint essential
• Experience of preparing artwork for print and production essential
