The Company:
A fantastic opportunity for a Sales Account Manager with retail experience to join an established and leading supplier. This role would suit an ambitious and target sales candidate with a background in Buying.
The Role:
- Maintaining accounts and establishing relationships with various high street retailer/supermarkets.
- Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Following up on new leads and referrals.
- Product development.
- Identifying sales prospects and contacting these and other accounts as assigned.
- Organising and attending meetings with Buyers.
- Managing the development of critical paths.
- Negotiation of sales/cost prices, lead times and delivery dates with retailers and factories.
- Managing targets.
- Identifying and resolving client concerns.
- Participating in marketing events such as trade shows
Skills Required:
- A minimum of 3-5 years working within a ladies or menswear supplier or retailer
- A proven track record of hitting sales targets and KPI’s.
- A fashion background with ladies soft separates knowledge.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
- Working knowledge of critical paths.
- Proven sales and product development experience.
