The Company:

A fantastic opportunity for a packaging Graphic Designer to join a successful, well-established wholesale supplier.  Working in house as part of the design team, you will work closely with the Marketing and Development team to produce innovative product packaging across our various brands. Converting our ideas into engaging and commercially viable branding and packaging solutions.   You will be working in a fast-paced design studio, where we encourage you to explore your creativity.

 

The Role:

  • Art working, converting product concepts into print ready artwork
  • Proofing all artwork and ensuring that all artwork released for print has no mistakes and meets the appropriate brand guidelines.
  • Approval of pre and postproduction samples.
  • Creating brand guidelines- ensuring a consistent look and feel across all branded packaging.
  • Incorporate essential information such as product details, logos, barcodes and regulatory information into packaging designs.
  • Select appropriate materials, colours and finishes that align with the brand’s identity.
  • Ability to create mock ups/ visuals of the final products.
  • Ensure that all design elements, typography and imagery adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Providing technical specifications and liaising with factories to ensure products are to a high quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. 

Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a mid weight packaging design role, preferably within the textile and bedding industry
  • Proven ability to deliver designs from creative concept to final product
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suit such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within both the design department and wider team
  • Hard working and dynamic, with an excellent eye for detail, punctual with a great work ethic
  • Experience designing website banners, emails and social content is desired.
