We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join a team and lead the development and implementation of operational strategies for our sourcing and merchandising office. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in our ERP system processes, automating tasks, enhancing business efficiency, and fostering effective inter-departmental communication among all department managers.

The role:

  • Develop and Implement Operational Strategy
  • Formulate and execute strategic plans for the sourcing and merchandising office.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement of ERP System Processes
  • Lead efforts to enhance and streamline ERP system processes.
  • Drive automation of tasks to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Inter-Departmental Communication
  • Oversee all department managers and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and alignment of objectives across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading operational initiatives and driving results.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Positive, personable, and approachable demeaner.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Communication Skills
  • Ability to multi-task, proactively troubleshoot issues, and effectively problem-solve.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Fashion-related business experience would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in operations management or a related field would be a plus.
