The Company:

You will support the Merchandiser with the day-to-day supply chain administration including updating the critical path, raising purchase orders & organising shipments.

Fluency in Urdu is essential

The Role:

• Supporting the Merchandiser with day-to-day administration.
• Working closely with Far East suppliers – raising & sending POs, chasing through production and ensuring factories are adhering to agreed delivery dates, packing list checking etc.
• Updating the Critical Path.
• Updating the Merch team on late deliveries so they can apply for customer extensions etc.
• Building customer relationships & providing excellent customer service.
• Liaising with Far East factories via email and telephone.
• Ensure critical path is updated as amendments are agreed – i.e., price, shipment, quantity etc.
• Setting up product codes and chasing samples.
• Following up any customer problems / issues which arise.
• Negotiating prices with factories to achieving margins.
• Managing customer deliveries including dealing with forwarders, sea/air freights etc.
• Consolidating shipment of orders from various factories to ensure best rates.
• Managing goods coming in.
• Liaising with the warehouse and providing paperwork before deliveries are due in.
• Supporting with day-to-day admin including raising purchase orders and chasing orders.
• Support with the supply chain process from point of order through to delivery.
• General administration including post / sending parcels where required.
• Other duties as required.

Skills Required:
