The Company:

We are looking for an experienced Ladies Fashion Designer to work for a fast-growing online fashion retailer offering the latest fashion trends and styles to its customers. Due to expansion, they are looking someone to work with international markets including the UK and Dubai.

The Role

• Liaise with high street buyers to develop new collections, presenting new ideas.
• Researching, developing and designing across multi-product category, including identifying key shapes for the season and key product opportunities
• Sourcing new fabrications, techniques and trims- understanding all fabrications.
• Develop detailed tech packs, support and oversee the design team
• Designing shapes and prints
• Creating trend lead cutting edge creations for fast fashion.
• Complete comp shop reports, translating catwalk to high street.
• Visiting factories overseas in China
• Other duties as required.

Skills Required:

• Experience working for a leading ladies fashion brand
• Good presentation skills
• Competent with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and strong Excel skills
• Must be passionate about fashion and use initiative to look for inspiration.
• Have a degree in Fashion Design or similar.
• Ability to work both self-directed and collaboratively.
• Print/graphic design skills is a bonus.
