The Company:
An Import Merchandiser is needed to join a successful men’s and ladies fashion company who supply to high street retailers. You will manage the critical path, shipments and work to long lead times. The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in a similar role and have worked with Blue Chip Retailers and Supermarkets.
The Role:
- Work closely with Account Managers on customer accounts, whilst also being part of the Merchandise team managing orders across our stock range.
- Raise orders on our in-house PLMS system.
- Manage the critical path for your orders.
- Liaise with the Account Managers, Shipping, Design and Garment Tech teams to ensure the smooth running of the critical path.
- Where relevant, order and / or send out labelling and packaging to suppliers.
- Manage press and photography sample requirements for customer orders.
- Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence resolving customer and supplier queries.
- Generate progress reports.
Skills Required:
- MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Import Merchandiser.
- Have experience with liaising with the Far East.
- Fully computer literate with strong Excel and Word skills.
- Highly organised, efficient and can work to tight deadlines, within a fast paced environment.
- Able to follow a critical path.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
