The Company:
A fantastic opportunity for an import merchandiser to play a crucial role in facilitating the sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional support to the retail customers. You will be working with Buyers, building relationships and supporting the internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting a major retail customer with day-to-day Product Merchandising
- Ensuring that products meet delivery dates
- Raising orders and notifying factories as required.
- Communicating with the buying team and understanding key sample deadline and selection/ sign off dates
- Working with buyers and the design team to receive design packs
- To ensure availability of all required samples for buyer’s selection meetings on time
- Request buyers’ feedback
- To ensure a timely review of account performance
- Managing the critical path and ensuring the customer is updated
- Work with 3rd Party warehouse to ensure the goods are booked and delivered as per agreed dates.
- Complete weekly dispatch report
- Arrange and lead customer meetings.
- Other duties as required.
Skills
- Previous experience in a merchandising role, preferably within the wholesale or retail industry.
- Dynamic, flexible working methods, adapting to the needs of the customer and business
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
