The Company:
An exciting opportunity for a Fashion / Textiles Sample Assistant / QA to join an established Supplier working with High Street retailers & Online stores. This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday
We are looking at ideally for a fashion / textile graduate looking to build a successful career with a leading fashion company.
The Role:
- Work with QA Team to manage the product through its life cycle from development to delivery.
- Ensure products on the system is correctly and meeting critical path timelines and quality standards.
- Raise sample requests including tracking in line with critical path dates and answering any queries from the factory by speaking to relevant team members.
- Chase product (Sample requests as well as samples against orders) based on critical path requirements.
- Login samples on PLM System with clear images
- Measure samples and highlight any issues to Accessories Technologist – Initial samples / Red seal / Gold seal samples.
- Pass samples to relevant team member or further checks.
- Prepare samples and send to customer for sign off / Update system with comments.
- Checking and approving labels
- Update Vision
- Work with factories on providing information for Product development.
- Keep clear storage and samples approval libraries.
- Attending supplier meetings / customer meetings when required
