The Role:
- Managing a small team of 4 – 5 people within the merchandise team
- Day to day management of UK and International retail customer accounts, ASOS etc
- Implementing new procedures
- Onboarding new customers
- Building customer relationships & providing excellent customer service.
- Managing high volume orders
- Managing Critical Path from start to finish.
- Negotiating costs
- Liaising with factories and managing production dates
- Managing customer deliveries including dealing with forwarders, sea/air freights etc.
- Consolidating shipment of orders from various factories to ensure best rates.
- Liaising with the warehouse and managing stock levels
- Managing supplier performance
- Mentoring and managing the team
Skills Required:
- Previous experience working as a Fashion Merchandiser is essential.
- Experience of implementing new processes with success is very important.
- Ideally you will experience working with customers such as ASOS and America
- Strong time management skills.
- Have strong administration skills.
- Be fully computer literate with strong Excel and Word skills.
- Highly organised, efficient and can work to tight deadlines, within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be proactive, able to use initiative.
