The Role

We are looking for an experienced Transaction Manager to join our Finance Team in Manchester. You will have ownership of the transaction ledgers across customer, suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the Purchase order system ensuring compliance across the business and accuracy of POs
• Oversee the reconciliation of company purchase cards
• Accurate posting of ledger transactions by dimension​
• Accurate and timely payment of suppliers and expenses​
• Dealing with supplier queries and remittances
• Support the Management Accountant in Month End processes and balance sheet reconciliations​
• Ownership of the accounting system administration

Skills Required

• Ideally part qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) with strong technical skills​
• Strong analytical skills​
• Strong process and controls experience​
• Ability to be able to drive change and improvements​
• Excellent aptitude for systems and advanced Excel ability​
