The Company:
A highly successful and established food supplier are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sales Manager for their Ingredients Department. This is a B2B sales role, and you will have experience within the same industry, maintain and manage existing customers and have the ability to develop new clients and business. This is a great opportunity for a strong salesperson with future opportunities within the business and company direction.
The Role:
- Able to create new opportunities and negotiate on price
- Closing on deals for B2B customers including Manufacturing , Wholesale , and other types of industry clients
- Liaise with colleagues keeping them up to date with market activity to ensure purchasing and information can be communicated with existing and potential customers.
- Handling all enquiries and sales leads are followed up and actioned
- Agreeing sales volumes on contracts are forecasted to ensure the business is aware and can meet the customers demands
- Working with all company departments including ingredients team to ensure knowledge about the range of products provided are understood and knowledge gained
- Working to deadlines
Skills Required:
- You must have a minimum of 5 years within a similar role – sales management/account management
- Essential that you have worked with the Manufacturing markets – food or ingredients
- Strong business development skills
- B2B background is essential
- Communication skills with all stakeholders at a high level
- Fully PC literate – Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP & Reflex
