The Company:

A fantastic opportunity for a Merchandiser to join an established supplier of ladieswear to the High Street Retailers with opportunities for career progression.

Duties will include:

• Liaising and meeting with customers and suppliers on a regular basis to ensure requirements are met.
• Working closely with Sales, Design and technical teams daily.
• Purchase order management – chasing customers etc
• Effectively managing the critical path.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Acting as first point of contact for customers and suppliers.
• Liaising with factories at all stages of the production process.
• Maximising orders by monitoring client sales, forecasting and budgeting.
• Raising purchase orders.
• Reviewing factories and reporting issues to Managers.
• Working closely with other members of the team to ensure costs agreed and goods delivered are as per specification.

Skills Required:

• Must have experience gained in the UK within the fashion industry, running own accounts.
• Will have either ladies, mens, childrenswear fashion background experience
• Excellent understanding of leading High Street Retailers.
• Must have knowledge of CMT, with a strong focus on following critical paths.
• Must have experience of ordering/shipping/chasing through products/chasing deliveries etc.
• Previously liaised with factories/suppliers in the Far East.
• Excellent problem solving skills and a hands on attitude.
• Ability to hit the ground running in a very fast paced environment.
