The Company:
We are looking for a Logistics Administrator to join the busy team of a family run business who supply Homeware & Electrical products to retailers including Dunelm, Argos, Asda, Homebase, Next etc. This is a multi-faceted role within a growing international business. This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm.

The Role:
- To assist with all aspects of the logistics function (inbound and outbound) and to work alongside the logistics team both cross functionally and effectively.
- Assist with the movement of goods exported to our customers from our UK and EU distribution facilities
- Assist with the movement of goods imported from all suppliers into our UK and EU distribution facilities
- Assist with the processing of direct container shipments
- Provide departmental cover for holidays, absences etc.
- Assist with all necessary export documentation effectively
- Monitor/track shipments where required
- Arrange for samples to be sent to various parts of the world
- Monitor and update rates on the system to achieve correct costings.
- Request quotations for ad hoc land, air and sea activities
- Validate supplier invoices
- Other duties as required.
Skills Required:
- MUST have knowledge of Import & Export procedures.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
- To manage time and workload effectively
- Ability to prioritise workload and deal with more than one priority at a time
