The Company:
An excellent opportunity for a Buyers Admin Assistant to join a fast-growing online Fashion Ladieswear Retailer & support the buying & design teams. Working hours are Monday to Friday 30am-530pm. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and fashion driven candidate to
learn the full Buying cycle & progress within a Buying career. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years experience within Fashion Buying (work experience or placement).

The Role:
- Work closely with the Buying & Merchandising teams.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the whole fashion buying cycle.
- Create and manage the Critical Path.
- Placing purchase orders & order amendments – delivery delays, price amendments etc.
- Handling samples for Buying & Marketing teams
- Maintenance of the sample library.
- Create and manage the sample tracker.
- Chasing outstanding samples on a weekly basis, at all stages of development.
- Updating the Buying & Merchandising teams on sample status.
- Preparing the sample fit rails in advance of fit sessions.
- Attending fit sessions & take notes.
- Complete regular competitive shops and report back to wider team.
- Conduct inspo & newness shopping reports.
- Highlight key trends in team meetings.
- Creating fashion trend boards for buying meetings.
- Take minutes in Buying & Trade meetings and circulate to the wider business.
- Provide essential admin support to the fashion buying & design teams.
- Other duties as required.
Skills Required:
- Have a minimum of 1 years experience within Fashion Buying (work experience or placement).
- Have attention to detail and a keen eye for fashion.
- Be an enthusiastic, highly organised team player, with strong communication skills.
- A willingness to support the Buying & Design teams with all admin related tasks.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of competitors.
- Strong Excel skills – Pivot tables and formulas are ideal skills.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised with the ability to manage a workload and prioritise where required.
- The ability to build rapport and relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Strong administrative skills and the ability to work independently
- Critical path workflow and management skills
