The Company:
An experienced Italian Speaking Account Manager is needed to join a fashion company who specialise in supplying all types of Apparel and Accessories.
The Role:
- Building and maintaining your own portfolio of key clients.
- Managing all aspects of your own accounts from design through to delivery.
- Sourcing, selecting and negotiating with factories and customers to obtain optimum product and margins.
- Setting, monitoring and adjusting season budgets to meet growth and profitability targets.
- Liaising with Merchandisers to monitor sales and maximise sales through repeats, ensuring on time delivery.
- Working closely with the design team to identify relevant trends and translate into products appropriate for customers.
- Attending international tradeshows and sourcing trips.
- Management of junior sales staff.
Skills Required:
- Must be able to speak Italian
- An apparel or accessories background in Fashion is needed
- Commercially focused with an impressive record of working with retailers, coupled with superb customer service.
- Ideally from a supplier background.
- Proven success in bringing in new business and growing margins on existing accounts.
- Confident, passionate, innovative, analytical and creative.
- Strong networking skills.
- Awareness of the market and the ability to spot potential new opportunities both in product and new business.
- Excellent purchasing, brand and range planning and negotiating skills along with the ability to work under pressure.
- Confident decision maker with the ability to execute ideas quickly and effectively.
- Degree in fashion, retail, marketing or other related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Flexible and willing to travel.
