The Company
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Garment Technologist to work across ladies fashion including denim, swimwear, knitwear, outerwear and lounge wear. You will be a great team player, highly dedicated with a passion for all things fashion and a good communicator.
The role:
- Ensuring that garments are being produced to the required quality standard and that manufacturing is measured within tolerance.
- Discussing new designs with the design department and Merchandisers and helping to decide on the best way to manufacture them.
- Working out size specifications and planning how new garments will be made up by producing initial and graded size charts.
- Monitoring the production of sample garments and initiating any changes to the designs to fit manufacturing requirements.
- Fit meetings with customers
- Grading, Pattern review & Fitting, Lab reports, compliance and Shipment samples approval
Requirements:
- Experience of working in Garment Technology
- Enthusiasm and determination, with a passion for garment technology
- Team spirit and a positive attitude
- Confidence in communicating, in order to maintain a strong working relationship with all departments and suppliers
- Strong MS Office Excel skills
- Attention to detail
