A leading importer and distributor of textiles are currently looking to recruit an Administrator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with knowledge of Excel and good administrative skills.
- Support the sales team.
- Managing contract orders for key accounts.
- Managing critical path to ensure deadlines are met.
- Liaising with buying team to check on progress.
- Attend meetings with customers both offsite and onsite with the account managers.
- Checking sales contract from factories.
- Managing factory samples and chase customers for approvals.
- Keeping on top of customer orders making sure they are taking their deliveries.
- Looking at future repeat orders
- Taking incoming calls & emails from customers.
- Dealing with enquiries, quotations and orders
- Contact new and existing customers to encourage new business.
- Check other team members emails when they are on sales trips or holidays
- Any other general office duties as required.
- Ideally have experience in a similar role / office environment.
- MUST have good IT skills with knowledge of Excel.
- MUST have good administrative skills.
- Good written/ numerical and communication skills
- Be organised with attention to detail skills.
- Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good telephone manner.
- Must hold a full valid driving licence.
