We are looking for a Category Supply Chain Analyst to join a Global Textiles company supporting key stakeholders and National Retail customers.
You will be responsible for monitoring supply chain performance and generating data-driven insights including demand planning; sales and operations planning and inventory.
This is a highly analytical role requiring someone with experience in Retail and Supply Chain/ Sales Analysis

Job Role
- Liaising with National Retail customers to understand their supply chain process and analyse various data points to derive meaningful insights, optimising efficiency and profitability.
- Work closely with Fulfilment, Inventory, and Demand Planning teams with a microscopic focus on the business deriving ways to upgrade the program efficiencies.
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data including store-wise, Point of Sale & DC based inventories into actionable insights.
- Generate weekly Inventory reports and provide insights, identify opportunities, and delivering solutions that drive operational efficiencies.
- Present supply chain trends across DCs effectively
- Leverage technology to visually represent the compelling status of Operations (e.g., heat mapping, Power BI, etc.)
- Suggest Improvements to streamline the supply chain process for seamless operations optimising working capital and product availability.
- Pre-empt supply chain risks and develop strategies to resolve any issues enabling the buying team to make strategic calls.
- Weekly critical path / supply chain summary across ranges
- Propose adjustments to category ranges, based on Sales Analysis and recommendations to be presented as part of range-planning process at the appropriate time.
- Attend customer meetings.
Skills Required:
- Excellent IT skills including Excel, ideally Power BI and knowledge of ERP systems.
