The Company:
An excellent opportunity for a Buyers Admin Assistant to join a fast growing online Fashion Ladieswear Retailer & provide essential support to the fashion buying & design teams. Working hours are Monday to Friday 930am-530pm. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and fashion driven candidate to join a fast-paced Buying team and begin a career in fashion Buying. The ideal candidate will have experience in Buying, Merchandising or similar.

The Role:
- Ensuring the smooth running of the whole fashion buying cycle.
- Placing purchase orders and completing order amendments including delivery delays, quantity adjustments and price amendments in system.
- Creating and maintaining the critical path/monthly boards.
- Preparing the fit rails in advance of fit session.
- Attending fit sessions & updating critical path accordingly.
- Chasing outstanding samples on a weekly basis, at all stages of development.
- Updating the buying team on sample status.
- Complete regular competitive shops and report back to wider team.
- Maintenance of the sample library, preparing samples for meetings.
- Sample handling support for cross functional teams; marketing, press and online.
- Creating fashion trend boards for buying meetings.
- Take minutes in buyer meetings and circulate.
- Provide essential support to the fashion buying & design teams.
- Other duties as required.
Skills Required:
- Have experience within Fashion ideally in a Buying or Merchandising role.
- Have attention to detail and a keen eye for fashion.
- Be an enthusiastic, highly organised team player, with strong communication skills.
- A willingness to support the Buying & Design teams with all admin related tasks.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of competitors.
