The Company:
We are now seeking an Assistant Merchandiser (Import) to our join established team. This position offers variety, development and the chance to be part of a fun and highly experienced team. Experience in a similar role is preferable however transferable skills considered (e.g., Purchasing, Stock control, Imports)
The Role
- To contribute to all aspects of stock control, supplier management, ordering and replenishment.
- Planning and controlling stock levels
- Analysing sales and reacting to trends
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
- Shipment planning, including import documentation
- Working alongside product teams to ensure stock arrival in a timely manner
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Forward thinking and ability to react and adapt to challenges
- Advanced understanding of Excel
Key Responsibilities
- Excellent organisational, time management and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly.
- With your skills and experience you will quickly become a key member in the merchandise department.
- Confident with the ability to work with speed, efficiency, flexibility and general professionalism. Computer literate with excellent Excel skills and work well under pressure.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- Happy to help attitude and willingness to succeed with the opportunity to progress within the company.
